David Haywood Smith
In March 2010 the company David Haywood Smith (23) founded – wishli.st – was selected to join the inaugural class of The Difference Engine startup accelerator. Internships at a web design company and Multimap.com inspired him to launch a prototype of his idea and raise investment from private investors. He grew up in Northumberland and, when not in the office, is usually out in the countryside.
